Change. It's something I spend a lot of time thinking about. Observing. Analyzing.
I am completely support change in almost all possible ways. Even changes that lead to "bad" outcomes aren't necessarily bad changes. The only time a change should be considered bad is when it's a change that leads a person or peoples to either a more selfish or more harmful way of life.

Being able to change one's mind is the spice of life. Some people walk down a straight path in life, but I say oscillate along that path! Jump over the bushes and climb up a tree. It may take longer and you might end up with some bumps and scratches, but you'll eventually end up at the same place as everyone else.

Another aspect of change is the complete change of one's way of life. We are all products of those around us, especially those who surrounded us when we were children, but that doesn't mean we are forced to think and act in accordance to nature. It may be hard to fathom sometimes, but we do have control over what we think about and how we think about it. All it takes is will power, a resolve to change, and probably a lot of practice and repetition... but nothing comes easy.

If only

There are a few places that I frequently visit and every time I do I wish that I could work there and still make a sufficient living.

Blockbuster: You get your hands on the latest releases of every single genre imaginable! Plus you get to talk with random people about movies! Those are usually the most enjoyable conversations.

Anime Store: There are a couple that I visit and it's so fun every time I go! I could easily work as a cashier in a manga store and have deep discussions about anime and manga with random people. There's always that otaku connection that makes you feel like you've known a person forever.

Golden Age Collectibles: It's an independent comic book store located in the Pike Place Market. Well this store is a generalization of stores similar to it like those more independent movie store chains with the life-size cardboard posters of Princess Leia and Spider-man. Those kinds of places have the coolest collectibles and random items of awesomeness! My Mecca. Golden Age is where I'm always able to find the rare stuff like the New Avengers: Illuminate graphic novel that I got Ryan right before I visited him in Cali. I got Cherie (big ups to Cherie)

Something from there as well, but sadly didn't get a chance to give it to her.1

Oh yeah. I love when I can relate to something I read or watch. Thankfully it happens all the time.

mmmk.
ja ne.

1 I added a picture of myself pointing because that's my "big ups" pose and it was too difficult to use my asterisk-description-asterisk method. haa

you got it, you got it bad...

I think I ate ever single kind of junk food today and now I feel gross. I'm seriously thinking about going doing a Mary-Kate and Ashley (sticking my finger down my throat) to purge my stomach of all the badness that's settling in.

It's a bad day like this that makes me say to myself, "Crap, I'm going to be fat tomorrow!" A day can make a surprising difference.

Update

It turns out 30 Rock is one of my all-time favorite shows now. It's super funny, random, witty, and smart. I likalot.

Random Fact: I only like to run outside when it's through a woodsy area. I don't like running on sidewalks. I feel like all I'm breathing in is pollution when I run near the road, so that's why I try to find forest-like places to run through. It's a unique experience every time.

Whoever made these is a cool guy/gal.
